Nolan's First Father's Day!

Jackson and I were home from Lubbock just in time for Father's Day. We had a wonderful day, just the three of us, walking around Frick Park here in Pittsburgh and having a picnic. Yes, all that pretty scenery is actually right in the middle of the city, believe it or not! Jackson loved looking at all the trees (he loves trees)! He is so much fun to watch now that he is more aware of his surroundings...and always learning new things. After our picnic/walk at the park, we went shopping for dress shirts/ties for Nolan's upcoming interviews. Yes, its finally almost that time! He is looking to start applying for jobs in the fall and hopefully we will soon be moving on with our lives (and living like real 'grown-ups')! It was a perfect day with my wonderful hubby and son! As a gift for Nolan, I had my mother take pictures of me and Jackson with her (very nice) camera and had them framed. It ended up being the perfect gift- he loved it! (see slideshow above)
